Dear Partner in Pressure Ulcer Care,
For the past sixteen years the National Pressure Ulcer Advisory Panel (NPUAP) has been a resource for the pressure ulcer community. Our organization has provided quality educational programs, valuable educational materials, expert opinions and consultations on policy issues impacting wound care, and focused attention to research needs in this specialized field. The achievements of the NPUAP are due in large part to the voluntary support of members of our Board of Directors, Alumni Council, Corporate Advisory Council, and Collaborating Organizations. These individuals, companies and organizations have given generously of both human and fiscal resources in order that we may provide the highest level of resources to you, members of the pressure ulcer community. Their contributions have allowed us to provide these resources to you at nominal cost, and in most cases free of charge.
Now, in order to make this a more global partnership, we are offering you the opportunity to show your support and appreciation to those responsible for providing you with information and resources designed to make a positive impact on patient outcomes. We ask that you become part of our continuing efforts to provide quality resources through your support of our Program and Projects Campaign. Your tax deductible contribution (under IRS 501 c(3)) to this fundraising effort will be used to underwrite the activities of our mission committees in the focused areas of education, public policy and research. They will enable us to accelerate the development and dissemination of valuable information, actively impact policy issues and prioritize research funding.
